From my private collection is a solid and close to new condition Zenith XL-Tronic ref 01-0080-050 tuning fork watch from the early 1970’s. Please take a good look at the pictures! This is as good as they come!!!

Case: Very close to new condition with only very limited signs of previous use. Razor sharp lugs and edges. Original brush finish. Stainless steel 36x40mm without crown (It looks significantly bigger!). 19mm lug width.

Caseback: Screwdown back. Fresh brush pattern. Two minor scratches from a case opener. Marked “Surf waterproof” and the reference number 01-0080-500.

Movement: Zenith Caliber 50.0. Running extremely precise (like it should) on regular modern battery cells. This is not a Quartz movement but a version of the Bulova patented tuning fork hybrid movements running on 300hz (same as Omega f300hz). This Zenith has the very nicely decorated high grade version of the movement as was also used by IWC and a few others.
It comes with a fresh battery fitted, and is ready for use!
(I have no service history on this, and a service is always recommended if one intends to use any kind of watch on a regular basis.)

Dial: Spotless original silver brushed dial. Silver and black hour markers.

Hands: Original (unrestored).

Crystal: Excellent condition sapphire crystal (scratch resistant).

Crown: Original and signed.

Strap: Black leather strap (not Zenith) in good condition.

Price: EUR575 + shipment at cost. OBRO. NOW EUR390 PayPal and shipment included!
Shipment: The watch and I are located in Norway. I will be helpful to assist in keeping import taxes at reasonable levels. Shipments may also be arranged from within the European Union (will normally be possible about once every 14-days). Only tracked shipments accepted from my side.
