Hi all,

I’ve been looking to add a nice stellina chronograph to the collection for a while now and recently came across this one:

I totally loved it in person, but I'm wondering about the case.
I think I've only found similar ones with straight lugs so far.
Does anybody have any idea of this is just an earlier transitional case from the ones which still had numbers on the dial?

Many thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Tom

I am no expert on these, but the dial design is more aligned with the newer case design.
I have a feeling that it really belongs to a different case.
But, who knows? If you could find any historical references like ads or an old photograph from the 1960s...

There are some on Chrono24 with no numerals and tapered lugs And they offer a guarantee of authenticity, so apparently that's not a red flag for you.

I wouldn't be too concerned, here's an example I used to own, reference GZ 1.76 with a pulsations dial.
