Hi!

I am considering letting my very close to NOS Zenith go. It is in spectacular condition as it has been sitting in a local Zenith shop basically since new. Protective plastic coating on the back is intact. It is in my watchmakers exellent care right now for some new oil (have not used it after buying it, just tried it on).

Comes on the original black strap and the original price tag is still attached.

No box or papers, but of course receipt from me.

I am guessing a little bit about price, but somewhere around USD 3500-4000, let me know what you think!.I have also posted this on mwrforum, sorry guys if any of you felt I had set the final price to USD 4000! It was in no way my intention of misleading anyone!

I am located in Oslo, Norway and prefer local deal and pickup. If not local sale, I will ship with carrier of choice on buyers cost.

Thanks!

Hi

I'm confused....what is the price then ? you appear to have a 'value' range , but guess you are seeing what the highest offer is ???

If so , I think you may need to revisit that point or risk having your post deleted.

BTW - nice watch !

Best - Neil

Flame and the rest of you guys!

Yes, sorry about that! This is why I said in the post: "I am guessing a little bit about price, but somewhere around USD 3500-4000, let me know what you think!.!"
__
So again, did not mean this as any kind of auction, maybe I should have posted a question elsewhere about correct price before posting it for sale!
I was a little overwhelmed by the response though, and had no idea I would receive offers above the stated range!!

I have had some suggestions and offers a little under USD 4500, and will evaluate and answer them all. So for definite price I will accept USD 4500, local buyers will be prioritized.

Thanks
Tom

Nice watch, but no photos of the movement or case back for that kind of money? Would you also attempt to sell a high-quality vintage car without images of the engine?

NICE watch & GLWS if it's a sale.

But I'm also confused....what is your price?

This is the Heuer/Chronotrader model of advert--auction style "offers starting at $ will be considered". Personally I hate it as, if the guy gets a better offer, the deal you thought you had is null and void. Lousy way to conduct business IMO but that's the way they do it over there (which benefits sellers in this overheated vintage Heuer market--have to see how long that lasts).
Of course, here is not there and probably this ad should have been deleted if I understand the rules correctly... 😕
Best,
T.

Guys, he did set a price after being gently prodded:

Actually, and not to imply anything untoward, but he set a range, got offers over the range but just under $4500 and then set the price at $4500 and got that apparently.
So... he was gently prodded into increasing his asking price. 😉
But anyway, congrats to the winner. It's a nice and rare piece.
Best,
T.

Thanks for your comments guys!
As I said initially, I did not know which price range would be relevant, so I let that up to you guys. I said "let me know what you think!" and..you did.
Thanks!

The watch sold for asking price, and I have received some wild offers after posting it as on hold...Seems some are willing to pay a lot, but the deal have been made with a nice collector in HK.

Thanks and good luck guys! - The vintage urge only gets stronger, I am afraid😉!
