They nailed it with this one! Out of my price range so let me just wipe the drool from the side of my mouth and move on.

I love the "Collaboration" part. 🤪
What does Revo have to do with this reissue besides offering their online store as sales channel?

I am really getting bored with all that sterile reedition buzz lately 🥱 maybe I should start looking closer at what happens by independent watchmakers... at least they try to innovate and bring something different to the market...

True! But on the other hand it’s very well executed and an opportunity for someone to get hold of a cover girl without paying the high price for an original one.

Nothing beats the vintage though 😉.

I do also love the original first editions. But, Cover Girl is expensive (good ones go for ~15k), so getting this one makes sense to people with lesser budget. I bought one, minute after I saw the news. Wasn't hesitating for a second. It's my grail. Love everything about it.

I think this watch looks amazing, and at a decent price point. I'm guessing they won't last long

This is the only new watch I've been tempted to buy in the last 5 years.

I think you should do it! But you'll have the pull the trigger in the next few hours or you'll be out of luck

i guess i'm in the minority here. while i love the a3818 i guess zenith is basically going to re-issue the entire vintage lineup. . i just don't get the appeal of an identical re-issue of a vintage piece. no one is driving around in a replica of a 67 ford mustang. . if you want a vintage watch buy a vintage watch, if you want a new watch buy a new watch.. just my 2 cents but i would never wear a re-issue of a vintage piece whether i could afford the original or not

Normally I agree with you and seeing a reissue just makes we want to buy the vintage version. I don’t look at this as a substitute for the original, but a modern version of a spectacular watch. They are only making 100, so it’s truly limited.

With respect to the original, I don’t know long you have been hunting for one, or if you’re lucky you already have a good one. But finding a decent example that hasn’t been tampered with isn’t only a matter of affordability these days.

That’s where Zenith are doing really right with the modern LE reissues.

And I sincerely hope somebody from Omega will read this. 🤦
