The non LE blue and brown versions are now making their way to market - anyone bought one yet? Chrono24 has a few at 30% or more under RRP!

Also seems like there is a solid RG case version that's going for ard 11k euros

I must admit, seeing this video, i would be tempted to grab the blue dial!

It is undoubtably a lovely watch. Legibility of the hands seems to be an issue of that review is anything to go by!

Love the blue dial. Personally I would love a silver dial though (a la the Elite Chronograph Classic -- which is incredible and a watch that I honestly think I'm going to end up buying at some point, even if I'm convinced that 42mm is far too big).

Not I. I tend to be allergic to any version that dumbs down the Primero movement. Rolex did it for Daytona by removing the date and slowing the beat rate, and now Zenith's done it by removing the date and the hour counter. Like taking the spark plugs out of one bank of cylinders in a Ferrari V12. No thanks.

Are there any owners here of this watch?
I'm considering buying modern El Primero (because finding A-series models is hard) and this one has the best design. Also for 4,6k € it's pretty good price (Chrono24)! The tricolor and three register versions have too much going on. I hear what LouS is saying about dumbing down and agree, but 38mm, the blue dial... it looks winner to me.

For some reason I can’t find any used one for sale. Good sign or bad :)

I’m seriously thinking of getting a Zenith el primero 36000 v/h 38 mm... Great watch, but my question is why are they looking so large on the wrist??

Maybe is because they don’t have any bezel or maybe because they have long lugs... anyway, every time that I try one on there is something wrong with it on my wrist...

Am I the only one to perceive some weird feelings regarding how these watches wear on the wrist??

No, you're not the only one. I have been looking at both the 38mm Heritage 146 and the 42mm Elite Chronograph classic, and especially the latter wears very big. Too big actually.
Imo, the H146 is sized quite nicely for a modern watch. Smaller would of course still be better.
I believe the lug-to-lug size is indeed what is causing them to wear rather big.

I wonder if anybody has installed GF bracelet to this watch? Haven't found a single photo.

I own the blue dial, beautiful watch! I bought a metal bracelet for it and think it is much better than the blue leather band it comes on. Message me for more.

It's not the lig to lug, the bezel is almost not existant, making it look bigger
