Hi, I have for sale an excellent example of a late 90's Zenith EP Rainbow Flyback. This one has typical scratches on the lugs and bezel but that's about all I can see. To my knowledge everything is all original. It will come with an aftermarket sapphire caseback and the Kevlar strap in the photos, which I think is a perfect strap for it. It will also come with the original caseback and bracelet. Brand: Zenith Model: El Primero Rainbow Flyback Ref: 02.0480.405 Year: circa 1997 Features: Flyback Chrono, 30 min counter, hour counter, constant seconds, quickset date, automatic, hi-beat 36,000vph movement. Movement: cal. 405 Service History: unknown, but there are two sets of watchmakers marks that are visible inside the original caseback. Everything works as it should. Case: minor scratches on the lugs, no major dings that I can see. Dial: flawless, tritium lume has aged evenly to a great tan colour. Hands: Original and excellent, only thing I can see is the sweep seconds hand looks like the red paint may have been touched up near the pinion. Crown and pushers: original, all work as they should. Bezel: visible scratches, not bad but they are there. Bracelet: original, desk diving marks Box and Papers: none. Price: USD$2,900 via PayPal and includes international shipping to most countries (from Toronto, Canada) and insurance via Parcel Pro. Pictures: I've tried to capture everything I've described but these are iPhone pics so there are limitations. Any questions let me know. Thanks for looking. (I've attached photos and included hosted links to same photos. I'll delete the links if the attachments show up in same detail).
I was asked what the little mark on the lume of the minute hand was. I hadn't noticed it so I looked at it with a loupe and there is actually a little bit of missing lume. So I'm doing a final price drop to USD$2,800 so you can have your watchmaker stabilize the lume. Thanks.
