·This beautiful and all original Zenith El Primero was only produced and sold 4000 times in 1973. It has the reference nr. 01.0210.415 and the famous 3019PHC movement. One of the few great automatic chronograph movements used by Rolex and Ebel as well. Beccause it was to expensive to design themselfs at that time.
The thing that makes this Zenith El Primero so attractive is the design. Unlike almost all other early El Primero chronographs, this one has a timeless design. The all steel case has a fluent design, no strange or large lugs, including a stainless steel back. The case measure 36mm without the original signed crown and pushers. The only signs of wear are a few smal scratches around the crystal. This crystal is not plastic but already a mineral crystal which does not scratch easily. It has actually no scratches at all. The movement was just serviced as well. The 3 registers of which the middel is smaller lay a little deeper then the dial itself, making it still interesting to look at. ALso there is a date window between the 4 and 5 o’clock position. I put it on a NOS vintage time correct leather black strap with grey trims that fits the design beautifully. No box or papers, but ready to wear and love. Asking € 1,875.00 ($ 2,638.89)
