·Very Rare Zenith
1970's Zenith Defy High Beat with fume dial in excellent vintage condition. The main characteristic of the watch is the attractive and unusual fume dial with a wave pattern and the rare high beat movement Zenith Cal. 34.6 (only fitted in 1978) which runs with 5 HZ / 36'000 beats per hour.
MODEL / REFERENCE: Zenith Defy High Beat, Ref. 01-0170-346
DIAL+ HANDS: excellent fume dial with wave pattern. Tritium lume on hands and lume dots are fully intact. Hands and dial are almost in perfect condition. Under the loupe and strong light, you will notice some oxidation on the seconds hand. Italian date wheel.
CRYSTAL: Mineral glass in good condition
MOVEMENT: Rare Zenith Automatic Cal. 34.6 - High Beat 36'000 in very good condition.
CASE: 37.5 x 40 mm stainless steel case in excellent condition.
CASEBACK: stainless steel factory engraved caseback in good condition.
CROWN: Original Zenith signed crown
BRACELET: The watch comes on a genuine steel Zenith bracelet with folding clasp.
Dial, crown, caseback, movement & buckle signed. The watch is in overall excellent condition, has been serviced in 2020 and is fully functional.
