    Dear Zenith fellows

I got offered the attached watch, does somebody know some Info about it? I think it has a Cal 133.8? It measures 36mm. It's a trade offer, and as I am a Bit in favor of Zenith I tend to accept the trade ::shy::

Thanks a lot for helping :)

(Sorry for the Bad quality of the pics ... Not from me)

Nice looking piece. Yes, cal 133.8. Probably late 1950s... could date it if the serial number were legible.

I haven‘t seen it in the flesh yet - pics are all I have.

the 133/133.8 bumpers are among the best ever made. If you like the watch, and it checks out in other respects, go for it.

I would not buy that without much better photos or seeing it in person. It's a little too convenient that there are no clear photos of the dial, especially when the entire outer edge appears to have been washed. And you will want to take a hard look at the "automatic" in comparison with other examples.

Get hi res pics. The automatic looks off but blurry pics don’t help. Also the case back doesn’t look like a Zenith

Great, thanks for the Info!

I will meet F2F and see the watch in real. At the moment I am considering if I trade - I got it as an offer for an Enicar Sherpa Super Divette.

Could be the writing under 750 the old Zenith ? Are the casebacks from the 50ies always pressed?

Yes, better photos would of course be helpful. But based on what is currently available:

    – the dial appears to be original, albeit a bit dirty

    – the case looks correct, and no, Zenith, like every other major manufacturer, used both snap-back and screw-back cases.

    – there appears to be a significant scratch on the upper right lug

As I mentioned previously, very likely all original, but condition is not great.

That automatic script looks off to me. Look at it closely when you see it. Otherwise it looks good. Serial looks right if 45 are the first 2 numbers

I’m under radar looking around for a 133.8 lately and I think you could find something better than this.
