I had my watch serviced at watchguy in UK. I just received it back Christian and his team did an amazing job during the service which I strongly recommend to users of the forum, below you can see the different stages. https://watchguy.co.uk/cgi-bin/library?action=show_photos&wat_id=3144 I’m now waiting for a strap to have it completed very soon an update!!!
They have certainly advanced from their signature cardboard boxes they used to ship watches in Great watch, love the comprehensive photo series Watchguy makes.
I tried to use him for a bumper service once and they knocked it back saying they can't get the parts like main springs any more. Went to Watchbloke instead and he found one no problem. They get rave reviews and do extremely impressive stuff but maybe cherry pick a little.
Hopefully Christian still includes the sweets!? Great guy and one of only three places I consider sending a watch to.
Well, maybe that's not the worst outcome. If he has more business than he can handle in a timely way, it's best for him to stick with jobs that are right in his wheelhouse.
No mainsprings for Omega bumper automatics? Huh? I just replaced the mainsprings in my two Omega bumper automatics.
