·For sale is a vintage 1960s Zenith A278 chronograph with Cal. 146DP movement.
Service history for this watch is unknown, but as one might expect, it winds and keeps time very well. The 45-minute register chronograph functions very precisely and the sweep central hand resets to 12.
The case measures 36mm across without the (original) crown, 12mm thick, and 44m from each 18mm lug. The case is unpolished, the crystal is original. The domed plexiglass is unpolished and this shows minor scratches. Photos accentuate blemishes on the steel case: In daily use, it comes off as a very good condition piece.
Price is $1950 shipped vis USPS Priority insured mail in the USA. It comes with a standard-length Hirsch strap; the one in the photos is custom made for my wrist and is not included in the sale.
