Hello guys, I finally decided to sign up after been reading posts for a while. I have been passionate about watches since I received for Christmas my first watch, a Hamilton Khaki field. That was many many years ago and after that came an Eberhard and many other watches. Always appreciated Omegas and the watch I most attached to is a Speedmaster gifted by my lovely wife. Lately I have a Zenith bug. I was born in the UK, raised in Italy but currently living in London.
Sorry the introduction was meant to be added to the forum new and member support, however I take this opportunity to ask what do you guys think of this Zenith A277. I have been looking for one for some time now and I might have come across one. The seller is selling this watch for 5700£. Any thoughts or suggestion are highly appreciated, thank you very much

Welcome to OF and thanks for your request. It is very difficult to judge about the condition form those pics. The dial could have some defects (see 30min subdial, see outer minute/second scale at "33" and next to the hour track between 50 and 55). The condition of the lume on the dial is unclear from that pic, may be the most of it is gone. Do you have better pics from the dial (daylight pics preferred) ? Bezel is also hard to say from the pic (see around the "20") The watch has a chrono creep in the 30min subdial. The GF is earlier than the watch (4/68). Does it have a diver extension (looks like from the first pic) Endlinks incorrect as already stated above. Do you have pics from the caseback (ouside and inside) and movement ? I would ask the seller for much mor pics to learn mor about the particular piece although the price seems to be quite fair. Good luck !
Hello guys, thank you for all your answers. I have asked the seller for some images of the watch including one of the movement. I hope to receive them soon and share them with you. However this is a holy grail watch for me and before I pull the trigger I am wondering if saving a little further for it and wait for a better example to come up.
