Zenith A277 mk1 from 1969

I am selling a Zenith A277 mk1 from 1969. Serial is a 184D087 and belongs to the very first batch of those diving chronographs. That reference host the hand wound 146H caliber.

The mk1 is the rarest and my favourite version as it has blue subdial hands, no paddle on the chrono hand and limited markers on the bezel

I have bought several watches recently and the “1in1out” rule is applied as usual. For the ones who know me by now, I only own top condition watches and letting a watch go is always a pain…

Condition is amazing for its age. It is the best one I have ever seen and you will probably never see a better one…

Dial is flawless, ony two tiny spots on the 6 o’clock subdial are visible with a loupe. No missing tritium from the indexes. Hands are original. Tritium reacts correctly to the UV light

Case is unpolished, super sharp. Serial number on the caseback is clearly visible.

Bezel has faded and is beautiful

Bracelet is a period correct (4.70) Gay Frere bracelet with ZF end links.


Watch is working properly, I have no history about service. I have no photo of the movement, but I will ask a watchmaker to open it and shoot it.
