I'm told these early Quartz were a landmark in new technological advances in the day and may appreciate as they gain recognition for this. Any thoughts please?
There are a few models are relatively inexpensive and I think an analogue/LED does have a certain appeal.
    Any input appreciated.

They crop up on ebay every few months, often as full sets, often with non working LED segments.

I've been tempted, but research indicates that the LED segment cannot be repaired... at that point I lost interest. ;)

Hmmm....ok, that's a deal breaker I guess. I just thought they seemed quite interesting, launched at the cusp of the Quartz era, and inexpensive. Tend to prefer a tuning fork anyway and that sweeping second hand.
    Thank you.
