I am trying to work out who produced this dial, and my best guess is ZJ Fluckinger based on the initials. The only problem is that the J (which seems to be stylized to look like a spring) doesn't match the logo shown on Mikrolisk, and also it doesn't match any example that I can find online. Also is it at all possible to date it from either the reference number, or the style of the letter J ? Can anyone here help out ?

yes it is ZJ Flückiger. (They worked for Longines for example). The difference is that the Logo you showed is a late logo, your dial may be from 1930-40 (I would need to see the face to judge)

    Wow a reply !!!

I should have probably updated this as is eventually figured out what was going on. It was the back of the dial from my A&F seafarer, which in all likelihood was produced by Mido in around 1938 (based on the MultiChrono). Write up here if it’s of any interest. I wrote to Fluckiger but they couldn’t help as they didn’t have archive records from back then.

One thing that might be interesting, and you’ve just reminded me to check, is that I’ve subsequently bought some Multichrono parts and I’ve got a loose dial somewhere. I should check to see how it’s marked on the back.
