    Significant Other: "You paid how much for your red book?" :eek:

    OF'er: "I paid 'x', but that's a HUGE discount off the normal £1250!!! I'm a master bargain hunter babes!!!" ;)

    Yeah that's not the first time it happened to me too. Despite all the automation Amazon has in their warehouses and such, it seems their inventory/stocking system is more basic than some vending machines lol

    A first edition is important for book collectors... the 3rd edition will be the most comprehensive including the recent Apollo 11 50th editions.
    @STANDY
    I have them all so far ::book::

    This looks like a special edition with a soft leather hardcover ? On the top it says: 1 of 10
    I have also seen special versions of the first MWO edition in an extra outer box... probably VIP editions...

    Looked up some "reference photos" I kept on my hard disk, adding them here for future reference ::book::
    This was a special boxed edition of the first MWO book ( Black 2013 edition )

    £1250? bargain.

    You'd think for £1.5k they'd even throw in free postage.

    I believe that, other than the leather cover or outer special box these remarkable MWO editions didn't differ contents-wise with the regular editions.
    This OmegaForums initiative was repeated for the 2017 red edition of Moonwatch Only...

    Well spotted... I also spotted a trend... MWO 1 was proposed with 30 signed copies, MWO 2 with 40 signed copies... so MWO 3 with 50 ? :thumbsup:

    I must confess I hadn’t noticed that it was a limited edition. But even so, crazy price. I saw a beautiful 166.010 seamaster sell in the private watch sales section. Buy that and the ordinary book for the price of the limited edition.
