I know the Auricoste, but IMHO the bezel is alloy (???)
Yes alloy, bezel and case actually, caseback is SS … the only Stainless Steel Auricoste were made for the CEV (centre d’essais en vol, fly test center) in a small batch, whereas the M.N. issued are like mine.

Mine had a life past its expiration date as I wore it sometimes while on duty, and I can testify - for what it’s worth - that alloy does not rust at sea

VIXA, cause the name sounds great in German ...
das hat sicher nicht jeder hier verstanden - hoffen wir, dass die dann bei Gesprächen
in Deutschand die Vixa betreffend die Grammatik, Aussprache ... gut hinbekommen,
sonst kann es unangenehm werden

I remember the Mitsubishi "Pajero"- problem...😁
so for us that means, that specially for members from spanish
speaking countrys the "vixa" is the recommendation (perhabs
as a kind of stylish addition to their "Pajero") 🤔😅

so at least:

perhabs the Hanhart 417 is the better / more neutral decision

Or completely aluminium alloy, as mine. Weakest outside but funniest inside of the 20/21s (modified 15TL)
