I am looking at thisPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Constellation 551 and I thought the hour hands, Omega sign and star all look darker (i.e. they look rose gold to me) than the hour markers (yellow gold). I thought the original dial should have all the above mentioned elements of the same shade of gold. Could this be real?

Very real. Sometimes hands age differently than the markers - I have one Globemaster that has the same affect. I also have had Seamasters where the hands have turned blackish while the markers look like new. My guess is this is due to oxidation...

That is a really crisp and clean example, and will not go cheaply!

Agree with Kyle. probably just differential oxidizing of the gold alloys

    I believe it's correct for these 14381/14393s.
