Your thoughts and feelings about Seamaster 145.029

I'm always attracted to vintage preserved pieces, expecially not frequently seen Omega chronos.
I prefer to find them as they are, with a wasa sabi approach.
I would like to know what do you think about this Seamaster 145029 (no more) racing dial.
Original 1170/653 bracelet and never polished case.

Thank you

Could anybody help me, please?
I would buy this Seamaster chrono and I need to know if it is totally correct.

I would like to know if you would buy it and which would be the correct price?

Thank you for your reply and help.

These are great watches, wear well on the wrist, and have the easily serviced 861 movement. Your example looks ok, especially after replacing the hands as offered by Kov, and a replacement for the cracked crystal. The movement looks like it could use a service too. It then comes down to price considering how much extra you'll need to add for the fixes.

I have a sweet spot for this Ω logo that has a unique shape. Also, hey, it's a radial dial !
On the other hand, I am not a fan of the 029 case. Personal taste thing...

I wouldn't buy this watch and the reason is I don't buy any project watches anymore.

If you like it, you shouldn't wait too long. Especially if the price is friendly. 😀

I can't understand which is the right price to pay.
I'll have to service the movement and change the crystal (I suppose about 200/250 euros).

Servicing a chrono movement is normally a bit more that 200/250 euros (figure double), and add another 50+ euros for the crystal.

I would bring it to my watchmaker: I think to pay no more than 200 euros for service.

1800 euros is a frendly price in your opinion?
