I’d love to hear opinions on this piece. Obviously it needs servicing, but other than that, what do we think? I’m a bit smitten with this model and would love to find one for actual daily wear. Looks like an original dial, which with these is a good starting point as many have re-dials. The 2471 case is in good shape, the lugs still have nice sharp facets which is what I look for in this reference. They are often quite rounded through over polishing. The estimate is nonsense, it will probably sell for at least 4x low estimate.
Quite a strong price, coming in with commission around £3350/€3750....but even at this level I still find the Cosmic's a hell of a lot of watch for the money, with great features, charm and wrist presence.
