I’d like to give my brother an Omega from (roughly) his birth year as a way of making amends, since I inherited our father’s watch and he didn’t. He wasn’t interested in it back then, but he is now.
I came across this „beautiful“ Seamaster online through an antique dealer. I’ve uploaded photos here.

It is an Omega Seamaster ref. 2759-2761. The Serialnumber ist according 1958.

The dial—and everything else, for me —appears to be original, and the movement seems to be running well according to the timegrapher. The only thing is that the lugs appear to have been over-polished.

The asking price is 990€. What is your valued opinion? Please let me know.

What was your father’s watch? And what’s your budget?

That one is fine, but not a great deal. Crown is wrong too by the way and originals for this model are nearly impossible to find (they’re very unique).

Hi and thank you for your quick answer.
My fathers watch is a 2502-1 SC, jumbo, from 1951.
Budget depends. Watch has to be original in total.

And I was sure about the originality of the crown 🙄.
