You think second hand watch straps are bad?

    Not sure who it was that rants about used leather straps periodically, but there is legitimately someone selling their used Nike socks on eBay, and someone has already bid $3.50 US for them.

    I was literally just talking to Trev about second hand bib shorts and how gross that was buying a used pair of pants that are worn without underwear while cycling and imbued with some dude's ball-sweat and... well you'd be on the lookout for skid marks, then I go looking for some cheap (new) socks to buy in bulk and I find that.

    I know they are stupid expensive but I would never sell or buy second hand bib shorts. ::puke:: I'm even squirrelly about used wetsuits. Although of properly cleaned I guess neoprene is ok.

    I wear through a set a year commuting... normally they're sacrificially burned to release the demons.

    My sister sold some of her clothes on eBay and got asked by a bidder if she would sell any worn (and not washed) panties, too. It works...

    Although he offered 250€ for one long worn panty she reclined. Guess she didn't want to give him any reason for sleeping in the bushes in front of the house or something.

    I once bought a Panerai that came with an additional used leather strap. It was really worn and broken in, but the original owner doused it with cologne. Weirdly enough I really loved the smell and spent hours at the local Nordstroms with the strap smelling back and forth. I looked and later smelled like an idiot, but couldn't find the right scent. I have no shame.. and finally broke down to ask the original owner the type of cologne he wore. I've yet to receive a reply =/
