Let's have a bit of fun.
A retired watchmaker who I regularly talk to has this habit of pronouncing watch names totally differently to me. He does this to the point where I have to stop and try to work out what he said or ask him to repeat himself. Now, he has over 30 years life experience on me so I would never dare call him wrong but ... I have to know which of us is right.
To that end, a straw poll (or better still if anyone knows for sure):
How do you pronounce "Cyma"? Is it " seema" or "sima"?
How about " Tavannes"? Is it "tav-ann" or "tav-ann-as"?
Any others people want to add?
