Loupe + Stickytape = Macro ! The results are surprisingly good. Of course, with such high pixel counts in the latest smartphones you can get plenty of Zoom just by cropping your images and save the trouble of dealing with a macro lens. But this setup gives you a depth-of-field that is artistically pleasing, and you get a waaay cool Through-the-Loupe vignette effect at no extra cost! Give it a try -- I think you'll be pleased, too
Everybody should have a loupe.. and a macrolens http://www.olloclip.com/order/ http://momentlens.co/shop/moment-macro-lens/ http://www.instalens.co/products/instalenswidemacro-magnetic-mobile-lens
I used to have a 10x aplanatic gemmologists eye loupe. Less distortion than a typical loupe. I wonder how that would work? Wish I still had it!
No, that's barrel distortion from the lens Vignette is loss of clarity/light towards the corners of an image.
This is clever. And if you want to get a little more high tech there is a cool macro lens for iPhone that i came across for just $70. Nice way to get cool photos of our watches. http://www.olloclip.com/product/iph...nJunction&utm_campaign=AffiliateMarketing2013
Amazing photographs ! Thought provoking especially the eye ones, as someone who has loads of surgery on my eyes they are well I'm speechless. I never think of using my smartphone, I always connect photos with a camera, great work give me more,
Oh, this is just great...so that's why my Rush 2112 album is skipping near the end of "A Passage To Bangkok"...just flipping great.
Did not know that "olloclip" devices. I have been messing with my Loupesystem (which is in fact great as a loupe) but is quite expensive and has not solved properly how to attach to my iphone (you must use an integral case, which I do not like).
