You could try BBC Five Live online on your phone and hook that up to the car. Unless it’s blocked outside the UK.

Just made it home in time to catch the 3 mins extra time; after 90 minutes on the Autobahn at 198. They should have this World Cup thing more often, all three lanes of the A1 empty as far as the eye could see. Double result. Happy

 

All the Germans still at home crying?

(One of my best friends was texting me incessantly yesterday. Started out an hour before the game, talking a lot about how Germany would steamroll everyone. The tone of his texts kept changing, until he finally reached intense anger. It was definitely amusing.)

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm an Italia fan, so this World Cup isn't holding my attention the way they normally do.

 

I was super surprised. To see Mexico win that match Yesterday. Have to say. I’m pleased with this World Cup. Seems anyone has a chance.

 

Boy, do I feel your pain

 

I fell asleep on my couch during the match yesterday evening... And I wasn't particularly tired. It was just so damn boring !

 

I reckon it’s been a really interesting World Cup so far. The Spain vs. Portugal game was epic, and there have been really big surprises like Mexico and Iceland and almost Australia. The England game was good to watch, but could be accused of being boring as Tunisia played so negatively after they equalized. The next round of games is going to be very interesting as some of the big teams could fail to pass the group stages. Crossing my fingers for Japan this afternoon...

 

I tried 5-live but it cut out right at the start of the game. I would definitely prefer to have English commentary to go along with the pictures from German TV. There are streaming websites that could access BBC/ITV but they get overloaded and frequently lock-up.

 

It looked like a wrestling move on Kane twice in the box which no fouls given then a light tap and a penalty given. Makes no sense to have var and not use it.

 

The TVCatchup app is pretty good too, but I have no idea how it works outside the UK.

 

In Japan at the moment and bars are full of excited fans.

Legit?? That Colombia game was not legit. They stole that 2nd goal from them. That ball was out the sideline.

 

It’s easy to put the ball in the net after the whistle has gone and the opponents stop playing. As such I can only think you’re joking, so in that case, that’s funny!
