This auction was mentioned in an earlier thread...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/23102223927...l?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=231022239271&_rdc=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Outside of the asking price, this looks like a nice piece, so I sent a quick message to the seller, explaining that his BIN price is a bit... absurd, and suggested that he consider a more realistic price. Here is the response I got:

It's like my wife. I don't want to get rid of her but is somebody offers me 10k for her
    they can have her.. Lol.

So, I guess he'll be keeping the watch...

Why do you think he's selling the watch instead?

So if he doesn't really want to sell the watch, why did he list it?

Good suggestion. I think I'll ask for a picture of her case back.

I hope the face has not been redone. Not a big fan of bubblebacks either.

Because, in the words of P.T. Barnum (apocryphally), "There's a sucker born every minute."

It reminds me of my Greek friends, who often put their property on the market, usually at inflated prices, because 'you never know...' Of course. when you start to negotiate a deal, they simply turn to you and say 'I have no need to sell.' What this accomplishes, I guess I'll never know...

Just remember, these are EXPENSIVE to service and almost impossible to regulate. Even recently serviced examples have been known to run very erraticly and even stop working altogether for no apparent reason unless you keep them well suplied with new shoes and make certain their jewels are replaced regularly. Even though a fully serviced and well regulated example is priceless, IMO it would be far cheaper to buy the watch :p
