yesterday I bougt what I thought was a fairly good 145.022. As far as I can judge feom "Moonwatch Only" it seams all original. Except from the glas that maybe was changed. For me it still look reasonable but sharp in the case with some of the brushes areas still visible. Any thought welcommed since I want to learn from all your expertise.

    Weird caseback for a 145.022.
    Unless it's a 69 or 71ST.
In either case, the bracelet doesn't match. It looks like a 1479 which isn't correct for both references.
And that index on your closeup looks really weird to say the less.
Just my opinion BTW. I might be terribly wrong of course.

Its not weird as it is a 69, the bracelet is from a later watch, a 71 st would have the first watch in circular form backcase similar to todays moon watches. Probably a serial number around 31xxxx. I have seen this one in the flesh and the case was in good condition.

Yes, serial 3058. According do "Moonwatch Only" they could have either a Tachymetre with "´" or without. The dial is a stepped dial, with T-Swiss-T and also looks correct according to the book. If their is any other opinion I´m glad the learn something new. That´s the point of a good community I think. : )

Looks 100% correct for a 145.022-69 with a modern bracelet added later.

Niece piece looks pretty minty. Both in condition and lume. May we ask what you paid? The watch is in very nice condition.

It´s a 69 and yes, it is a later bracelet. I compared it against my book "Speedster Only" and it all seamed to ad up. Glass probably later since it did not have the thinner logo. But the hesalite is not a big deal I think as long it´s an original. What is the problem with the indexes? Is it the fact that its floating over its boarders?
Thanks, I do have a 1039 bracelet with correct end pieces that I maybe will use on this one. Maybe it will end up on my 105.012 -66? I will post some more pictures later, but taken with a real camera and makro lens. I´ll send you a PM with my cost for this one.
    Regards

I see no issue with the hour indices, correct short ones for this. One pictures an odd angle but I'm not seeing what someone else commented on.

This pics are pretty bad. Being lazy and tried to take some photos with my phone. When looking at the tritium with a 10x loupe it looks like small piece ha come loose and replaced itself slightly out of place. I know that old lame can fall of (thats why they sometimes scrape it away) but I have nothing about a pice coming loose and get stuck again? But I guess anything can happen during the years.... : )

Why does the lume look green? Is that normal?

    Nice catch by the way.

When tritium ages it can turn into both this greenish tint, but also more yellow/orange. It all depends on the mixture (and environment) how the colors ages and changes. I guess thats why hands and dial tritium can turn into different colors? They where hardly painted at the same time so different badges of paint would hence age different. I hope you understand what I mean?

I've seen a number of later 145.022-69 models (an example of which this one happens to be) as well as many 145.022-71s with greenish-tinted lume. It's quite attractive, especially with ghosted bezels

My 2 '69 speedy's. The one on the left has greenish patina and the right has very attractive creamy yellow patina.
