Not this year but have been a few times as a close pal of mine was squadron boss with the Navy fixed wing element who are based there until about 5 years ago. Great times! To make this watch relevant, I will dig out his a pic of his squadron Breitling which is nice but knackered.
Ah found it. Shar (Sea Harrier FA2) Breitling, with knackered LCD and no follow up support from Breitling, other than the offer of a 20% discount on a new watch. I can't think why Bremont now sell bucket loads of watches to military types (with big discounts)
My buddy was front line on the SHar FA2 with the Fleet Air Arm and when they got canned got seconded over to Crab Air and flew the F3 Tornado ADV for a while (including on QRA missions) and then instructed on various aircraft including Hawk out of Anglesey. I went to some monumental piss ups and got to know some great guys including RN Helo guys on Seaking and Merlin but I still wish I had met @Mad Dog !!
