I've been looking for the Skin Diver/Big Eye for a while for a 30CH in the collection. Now it looks like Longines just pushed it a little further out of my reach. Everyone's going want one now. :( Rant over. The heritage version looks really nice though. Looks like the next candidate for a sub theme of mine.

Nothing wrong with getting a reissue and letting it become vintage at the same time you do.

The heritage version / reissued version is pretty nice, except I wish they had kept it at 40mm.

Trouble they had size wise is the 30Ch is almost 2mm thinner than the 7753 based movement in that, the more you bring the diameter down the more pronounced the thickness starts to look.

The Longines Big Eye already had a pretty strong tailwind before the reissue.....no 30CH comes cheap.

It is kinda unique to in the fact that it has GMT, tachy, and date, plus you can swim with it. A very strong contender for daily wearer.

Anyone here have real picks of one of these, vintage or 'Heritage'?

Had a look at one today, first one I have seen in a Boutique or a AD in a few countries I have looked lately.
AD in Copenhagen had only had it a week.

Nice looking watch with a solid build and felt a bit thick but took a speedie off to try it on.. Like it a lot on the leather strap it was on. Has a good wrist presence for a diver and it feels and looks better than the Tudor range at about the same price.

This might be the next new purchase.....
