This was the first military issued diver watch-made by Hamilton. Elgin made these post WWII These canteen watches are highly sought after by collectors and are very hard to find. My watch is all Correct and Original including the lead that went around the inside of the crystal. This lead was used to waterproof the crystal. I have not seen a nicer example than this Here are the details: -USN BuShips (Bureau of Ships) on the dial with Hamilton blacked out but still visible above 6:00 -Manual Wind Hamilton 987s 17 Jewel Movement (only 22,000 of these movements were produced for the Navy during WWII).
