Read about these WWII Hamilton Canteen watches here:
-Vintage Hamilton Watch Restoration: WWII US Navy Diver's Canteen Watch
A rare opportunity to own and wear a real WWII issued US Navy Canteen Watch
used by the Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) Navy Frogmen-plus I am including a very rare, hardly worn
Ranger-Tennere US Navy Strap-these were the straps issued with Hamilton Canteen Watches during WWII
although mine is not original to this watch
This watch is Real, NOT a reproduction (reproductions are being made and sold on Ebay). This was the first military issued diver watch-made by Hamilton. Elgin made these post WWII
These canteen watches are highly sought after by collectors and are very hard to find. My watch is all Correct and Original including the lead that went around the inside of the crystal. This lead was used to waterproof the crystal.
I have not seen a nicer example than this
    Here are the details:
-USN BuShips (Bureau of Ships) on the dial with Hamilton blacked out but still visible above 6:00
-Manual Wind Hamilton 987s 17 Jewel Movement (only 22,000 of these movements were produced for the Navy during WWII). Movement guaranteed to be as stated-do not want to open unless absolutely necessary
-Hacking mechanism works (second hand stops when crown pulled out)
-Keystone Case Company Case -"W" between the lugs at 12:00-correct for the watch
    -Dust Cover
-Case back serial number matches the movement serial number
-Completely overhauled, serviced/cleaned by my watch man Dec, 2015-
New staff, balance wheel, upper jewel, gasket, balance cock
-Chrome case top-excellent condition with no brassing-see pictures
-Steel case back with correct military inscriptions and numbers- deep scratches-see pictures
-Measures approx 40 mm lug to lug x 31 mm not including crown
-Ranger-Tennere US Navy Gray Strap-excellent condition
Dial has some discoloration between 3:00-4:00-see pictures
$1700 via Paypal Friends (or add 4%) delivered to the US via Priority Mail
International Postage $35 for USPS Registered Mail
Insurance extra and at buyers' expense
No returns unless not as described above

These are great watches, and wear beautifully, despite their small case sizes.

    congrats to buyer and seller!
