·Dear friends,
Im culling the whale to finance a nice Hanhart and as some of you know, I love my milwatches and UGs.
I present to you an extraordinary milwatch.
Likely a 1930s French issued watch, it is exceedingly rare - for obvious reasons - capitulation handed by Schlieffen and Guderian’s panzer divisions means France didn’t fight long.
You will likely not come across one of these for years if searching for them.
The beauty measures 31mm excl. crown, works perfectly, has a beautifully patinaed brown dial in GREAT shape.
The standout of course is the caseback with inscriptions MG = ministere de la guerre.
If you are wondering what the stars are for - they were issued be cétéhor and marked the accuracy of the watch. 2 out of 3 stars
Its a five-star watch for those of us who remember Stonne, Dunkirk and do not devolve into basic French-bashing.
Im located in New York, and will ship this beauty for $700 + shipping in CONUS.
