As I have two, I would like to trade one of my 105.002-62's for a 2998-62 or any 2998 would be considered.

    Cheers

Isn't it somewhat difficult to trade watches over a distance of thousands of miles? Are you Coming To America soon?

No, not really. I have bought and sold watches from and to all over the world. Unfortunately not going to the states any time soon.

    Cheers

As have I. Buying and selling is straight foward. Only one watch is involved.
Trading is cumbersome. More than one watch involved.

Sorry, don't understand what you mean. In both transactions you are relying on a level of trust which to me is the same as a straight sale. Maybe I am missing something.

You misunderstand. No problem with trust. The potential problem is if one side, or both, is not happy with their new watch then both have to be sent back or substitute a 3rd watch or some $ or ???? Money is fungible, easy to deal with. Watches opinions are subjective. Just saying that a face to face watch transaction takes minutes. A long distance trade can take weeks.

Maybe, I guess that it still comes down to the honesty of the descriptions and predetermined understandings.

Much respect for the manner which both of you dealt with what could have been a "sticky" situation.
All of which would make me very comfortable making a deal with either one of you. Bravo! Miki

I already have a nice 2998-62 or else my offer would have been made on day 1.

This is not the watch you're looking for. You may go about your business.
