Up for sale is my 1962 Omega Seamaster in solid 14k yellow gold. This piece is a reference LL6610 with the automatic caliber 560. This caliber is a non-quickset date, meaning the date is adjusted by rotating the hands through a 24 hour cycle. This watch was serviced in May 2018 by a WOSTEP certified watchmaker and is running accurately. The crown and the crystal were both replaced, but seeing how this is a vintage watch water resistance is not guaranteed. Dial: Silver tone brushed dial. There is a small blemish on the dial near the 10:00 marker and a very faint scratch under the date window. There is very very light spotting noticeable only under direct light. This is a non-luminous dial, which means the markers have black onyx instead of tritium, as do the hands. Case: 34mm with 18mm lugs. There is an engraving on the caseback, but unlike some US cased Seamasters still features the attractive stamped hippocampus. I have chosen not to polish the case, as I prefer my vintage pieces as original as possible. As such, there are light scuffs on the sides and back of the case though the bezel and lugs remain crisp. A light polish would likely remove these without compromising the case profile. Movement: As I mention above, this movement was serviced in May 2018. It is running accurately. Price: Asking $1250 $1050 USD. I am located in NJ/NY and welcome face to face transactions or payment by PayPal or bank wire. I have references available on multiple platforms.
