I'm looking to purchase my first used /new-to-me Omega. Let me clarify, I have a Vintage 1950s Omega that was given to me by my grandpa, but I want to add a more sporty/modern timepiece to my new collection.

Any recommendations for a sub $1,500 watch? Thanks so much for your input!

A new/old watch sub $1500 would be the Omega "Dynamic III" series. There's the chronograph and non-chronograph versions. Here's a picture of mine:

Any interest? PM me for price negotiation.

You have to define 'relative new'. Less then 5 years? 10 years? 15 years?
With your budget you have a lot of options.
Many modern Speedmaster Automatic will fall within your budget. If you are lucky you could get one less than 10 years old.
