Hello OF members,

I’m looking to buy one original Omega 1039 spring link (the expandable type) for my vintage Speedmaster Professional.

Details:
  • Must be original Omega (no reproduction)
  • Spring mechanism must be working
  • Width: 15.66 mm (standard 1039/1035/1506)
  • I’m based in France and can pay via PayPal, shipping at my cost

Thanks in advance - feel free to DM me if you have one or any lead.

Best regards,
Gerald w

Welcome aboard Gerald.
Yours was a cool response. All too often lately people wander in and expect everyone to change to suit them.
The rules aren't harsh or meant to deter anyone other than scammers. Certainly not set up to restrict newcomers.
From what you need it's easy to assume you have a rather nice vintage watch!
No hard pressure to open an introduction thread, there is a perpetual "What are you wearing" (WRUW) thread that is an easy starting point.
Pictures are easy to attach as the creators of the site have done an amazing job and host all of the pictures we produce, so the full depth of historical help never gets lost.

Have fun here 👍Bienvenue! (Edited from very rusty memories of school lessons of the early Eighties 😉)
Thank you for the clarification. I’ll make sure to contribute more to the forum before posting in the WTB section.

Hello everyone,

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Today I’m wearing my Omega Speedmaster “Holy Grail” ref. 376.0822 - a piece I feel very lucky to own. I love the unique blend of functionality and history behind this watch.

Here’s a quick photo:

Looking forward to sharing more with you all!

Best,

Gérald
