Looking for both inner and outer boxes for a 1978 Rolex 1680 Submariner. Be nice to find one in the U.S. if possible, shipping into the US is getting difficult.
    TIA
    John

Probably the crater box from these.
    I’m in the UK though.

Pretty cool medallion on the inner box. Do you know which is the correct box (inner and outer) for a 1978a set? submariner? How much would you be asking for Unfortunately getting anything through our customs today is a major pain in butt but I may be willing to give it a shot.

Not sure at this point, I thought you’d know which box.
I guess maybe the crater box above or a US bufkor box, got a couple of them too.

In America the boxes were put together by the AD so its hit or miss sometimes. Do they have any dates on the boxes?

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I’m sure these are US made and late 70’s into the 80’s. No dates.
Edit. Think this is a smaller box, a bigger type for a sub.

You would need the box Reference number 67.00.03. You can find that underneath the inner box or on a sticker on the outer box.

Not necessary. It could have been in that box, yes, but also several others.
Including a US made bufkor (if sold in the US)

Sorry, didn't mean to step on anyone's toes.
Well, that's one I can personally confirm. I will leave the rest for other people that can do the same.

Not at all. You are correct, it’s just not the “only” box used. I think the middle one is the one you mention, last is the bufkor
