I am hunting for my first vintage watch and have found this vintage omega. I would greatly appreciate both expert and non-expert opinions. The price offered is USD650 and for watch only (no service history). The owner claims that everything is as per original with no retouch done to the dial and all original parts. Attached the pictures given to me.

Redialed - Overpolished case - Tired movement.
My advice is stay away.

 

And missing the day/date surround.

You should probably avoid this seller.
These later Connies can be had in pristine condition for around the price you’ve been offered the one above for.

Wow guys, my untrained eye is really terrible :S

I had doubts since the dial seemed almost too new to be a 1960s watch. Now I noticed that the hands dont look original as well.

How do I tell if its been polished though?
