Sensational collection! I love the blue ones. They wear a little big on my wrist or I'd have a couple myself. Even the awesome lug-to-lug measurement couldn't take away from the surface contact this watch has on my little wrist. I am in awe though - thats a really wonderful group of them you've amassed. Wear them all in good health.

I agree. I got into 6139s first and have 4 of them, but my more recent 6138 purchases are the favored pieces having lived with them for a while now

My next seiko will be the sla037. I’m hoping the prices drop on the second hand market but most likely already appreciating ::bleh::

Have 3 Omegas, but these 2 get plenty of wrist time as well. 20201110_193135.jpg

I have a quick suggestion... I’m wondering if we might want to have two sticky posts for Seiko... the first for showing pics of our watches and the second for general Seiko talk... a place where members can ask questions and also where we can discuss new releases and such.

It might help grow the Seiko community here on OF a little more and provide some of the knowledge value members get from the Omega and Rolex forum pages.

Here’s my 7546-6060 from March ‘78 on its original bracelet (one of the best integrated bracelets I’ve worn from vintage Seiko):

Lovely, these are some of my favourite daily watches too probably because my dad wore a Pepsi version my entire childhood and it’s ingrained in my memory. They’re the perfect size IMHO.

We could start a WSRUW Today thread...?

I'm surprised how much people like my new-to-me Seiko skx007.
It seems lots of Seiko enthusiasts spot the watch in my various posts on social media.

I assume the skx007 is a "classic dive watch" and not too over-priced, so it is popular with a lot of people.

I was looking for this thread. I was a bit shocked when I saw a rep of a seiko I bought for 65 bucks on amazon during a flash sale of some kind. The rep was poor, it was quartz with a solid back so it would be very easy to pick out but it was being sold on Reddit for 17 usd.

I won’t post a picture of the rep of course but the fact they are repping sub 100 or 200 dollar watches gives me pause.

@bardamu, that's the same watch I had. My dad bought it in Japan, gave it to me on my 14th birthday, and I wore it every day for 20 years. That watch worked in the engine compartment of an MGB, travelled all of Europe, skied, I wore it everywhere. Mine was on a bracelet. It was sent to NY at least three times for full service, it would come back with a new crystal but the watch was never polished, and it showed. The clasp failed due to s stress crack that had gone unnoticed, and the impact against the sidewalk finally did her in.

I’m pretty sure this is the wrong thread to ask about Enicar , try asking on the other watch thread  . Nice watch though.

Anyone see this yet? It’s technically a men’s watch I think it’s 38.5mm case. They have a pinkish version as well same size. Limited to 5,000. I do kind of like it.
