Only just got around to listening and it was enjoyable - nice quick pace to the story. It definitely coloured in the relationship hierarchy between Daini, Suwa and the Hattori family.
I think I'll wait till the Manga comes out. The dueling factories would make for some killer images.

A bit of watch related memorabilia from the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

Sukki, Nokki, Lekki and Tsukki were the four snowy owl mascots of the games representing fire, air, earth and water.

SARB065 Cocktail time -- a poor man's Grand Seiko SBGY003 (which I think is going to be a future classic)

Hey all!

Just wanted to see if anyone had any information on the UAE and Omani Khanjar dials? Are they legit?

I've picked these up over the years, have not seen many of them.

Thanks!

I’m sorry I can’t provide any information about the dials, however I would say I think the end 2 are fantastic. No reason to suspect they have been tampered with because they look 60/70’s and only now are picking up in price as people look down different avenues so not much reason to fake them. I also love the green leather strap on the KS.
Does it have a gold medallion on the back or just stamped? You can date them via serial number if you didn’t already know.

Had a SLA017 that I sold a while back. One of the few sales I really regret. Hopefully the SLA037 will make up for it 😀

Not an issue for the Omani dial but just remember that the UAE didn’t exist until December 1971. Just double check the production date

Not my style, I'd never wear it, but it is an interesting design and use of high visibility color.

Not my style really either but it was NOS and I bought it at a pawn shop in Cebu City. James Dowling took a liking to it so it's his now. I don't really like black anodized watches but it was a colorful thing!

Haven't seen it. I'm still saving up for one of those Philippine limited edition Oris divers.
