@river rat - that 6105 sure is pretty. What year is it? That'd be cool if you had a period correct "Captain Willard" (from Apocalypse Now).
Seriously, that is an exceptional piece (and I maybe a bit jealous ). Well played sir, very well played!!!
My family of Seiko divers starting with a small crown April 65 production 62mas, 70 transitional proof/resist 6105 Mk1, a 75 Willard 6105 Mk2, and a 1978 JDM 6306
@bigsom - Impressive mix of 6105s! Here's my contribution: The so-called Aquatimer 6139-8030 - quite sleek, a touch smaller than its related brethren and excellent contrast between sweep hand and dial.
The 62mas and the transitional 6105 mk1 were definitely the toughest to find in excellent condition. So many relumes out there given how much these were used as intended! Thanks for the kind words guys. @GuiltyBoomerang that's a nice chronograph!
Found this at a local dealer yesterday, i was surprise that they still have stock and the price is quiet good compare to ebay, but i did not buy it Price $136.
New to me, this one has lead a life down in Oz! 6105 8000 courtesy of @GuiltyBoomerang In the words of the late great Guy Clark, this Watch is “stuff that works”.
Love all the 6105's. Absolutely gorgeous collection you guys...and of course now I feel the itch to find one.
