Not a Seiko today but as Seiko collectors I think we all appreciate Citizen watches 馃檪

Finally got the Mohawk together. This started as a salesman's sample - no movement. Got a 4R36 movement off eBay and then proceeded to break the stem. That started a whole saga trying to get a crown. The Seiko original isn't available, tried two that looked similar. Didn't work as the stem seemed a bit too short. Ended up with a Crystal Times CT272 crown that seals screwed or unscrewed in 6" of water. Plan is to buy a CT208 crown which looks like the Seiko crown and then test to 200m. I also installed a flat sapphire crystal with blue AR that I found on eBay. The Mohawk isn't supported by the aftermarket so it was hard going.

The movement wasn't advertised as regulated, but it's running dead on after a few days.

Just finished Service No. 20 on this beautiful 7A38-706a. To me, one of the most beautiful Seiko-Dials馃槉
Getting more and more comfortable working on the 7A28/38/48. Total strip down, cleaning, oiling, reasambling with new crystal and seals馃槉

Kind regards Max
