Today is April 28, 2023

wearing my Seiko 6105-8110 circa 1974 on a new Seichu Strap

Dang, that really make me want a Seichu strap. And a Willard. That one looks really, ridiculously clean too!

The advantage of buying decades ago as I was able to find ones in great condition if not NOS.
The Seichu strap is superbly comfortable, but I didn’t and wouldn’t pay retail… $200+.

A few more vintage Seiko divers…

You have a great collection of the early Seiko divers. The 62mas is in unusually good condition.

I'm planning to try and snatch up a Willard sometime in the next year to go with my 6105-8000. I'd love a 62mas, but, for now, I think I'm priced out of examples in good condition.

Thank you. Yes, the story behind the 62GMAS… picked it up in a local estate sale. The owner never really wore the watch as it was found in a sock drawer with the original rubber tropic strap which I still have in a box in a closet. I can’t recall what I paid, but, it wasn’t a lot.

Not sure about the referens, 7005-8022 on the case back, and 7005-8020R on the dial?
But a nice oldie anyway!

Fresh back from the spa! The GMT hand is now properly aligned and 50+ years of dead skin cells are gone, so now I can coat it in my own cellular detritus!
