Had a little chainsaw fun after working a while today. Want to trim some things back but I need a new chain for the saw. To be continued. Wore my 75 dollar pawn shop find seiko 5 which has surprisingly good accuracy and a decent power reserve

It’s really funny you say that as I’ve been wearing the same Seiko 5 watch by the pool, playing tennis etc for 10 hours a day for the last 9 days and it’s remained within 25 seconds since setting it with atomic clock. These watches are meant to be worked.

Haven’t worn this for so long that when I put it on the rubber strap snapped with corrosion.

This is an SKX013 and even it’s reduced 37mm diameter dwarfs my scrawny wrist.

PS. The bezel rotates but it’s very stiff. Is there a recommendation on how to loosen it?

Bought this rare reference for cheap, really loving the 80's ingenuity of the rotating head for your racing activities.

C’mon now - doesn’t everyone on OF have a Seiko 5 tucked away somewhere?
