I couldn't resist the siren song from this one.
Hmmm. I've seen "real world" photos, chiefly of this model as listed on EB** and the colour changes to a more silvery colour, I guess it's the sunburst effect. I could find myself really interested but I think I'd need to handle the watch in ambient lighting.

I have been consolidating my "big" watches. Money set aside for some UG love.

In the mean time, I find myself playing within a limited pool of funds and find myself looking at citizen and seiko vintages.

Here's what I gotten so far with Seiko.

I'm looking to add this Citizen "speedy"...

EBay is a horrible place for my wallet 🙁

have just come back to this today and re-read a few pages and still think that seiko should be afforded its own sub forum. yes there are dedicated and more general forums but for me the big kicker is the OF software is so beautiful and the community is great.
Rolexforums.com is huge and we still have a rolex sub?

Thanks! Yeah I created this thread because I believe the OF is the best watch forum around and serves a large community who enjoy both Swiss and Japanese watches

What a great dresswatch! And it wasn't even top of the SEIKO lineup when it was built 54 years ago...
