Fresh from the box! Jesse tells me the rate looks like a dead man's flatline on the graph. I'll wear it a couple times and then it goes on the block

That's the reason behind his avatar, buy -> wear -> flip -> repeat 😎

Yes. Don't get me wrong, I like it - but it's a little earlier than my normal collecting era. Plus, my roof patching isn't going so good. Get one thing done and another leak shows up. Time to call a professional and get the whole shebang done.

😁👍 Similar to the instructions on a shampoo bottle - lather, rinse, repeat.

Did you already find a buyer? I wish I could afford it, I need to get those watches back from Jesse to sell!

No, I haven't listed it yet. I was thinking of taking it to Ed at Aaron Faber's Gallery in a few weeks, along with a couple others (Corum, rose gold 351) that I know I'll end up not wearing much. The last few watches I've sold privately have only netted me a little more than Ed said he'd get me, and I don't have to shoot pics and put up with tire kickers and flakes.

What I'm wearing again today... 1979 Rolex 1680 Submariner ... I need to buy more watches, but I never sell my old ones, I just keep them, which is why I've got like 3 I wear, 10 I never wear, and 50 I want.

Black NATO with black hardware on SMPC. The NATO says "Stealth" the SMPC says "Bling".

Brad, you can order the orange dial from Ofrei for $260 odd, and have a watchmaker swap them quite easily:

Some Rolex Daytona owners do that once a year, switch from white to black and back again.

Cool, I might do that and throw in an orange bezel.

Yeah, I have a soft spot for C-cases. Got one or two from each brand I collect.
