Just found on a German platform... Looks way worse than mine and I guess the price is at least 400 to high... What do you think?

Moisture contaminated, badly.

I bet the movement is moldy or has been swapped by now.

You mean the dog lugs? They are not good or sought after?

No. It's a bad watch for 1200. And it doesn't matter if it's in dollars or euro's.

Anyway, maybe you should slow down a bit. I followed you in other threads and you're going to fast. First start with reading and follow some threads about connies. Read desmonds site and find out what model you like. Then read everything about that model and find out about market value. And then post your informed findings here.

OH, I am sorry, thank you for your advice. I just try to validate my own knowledge here. Some things I am not able to know from catalogues or even Desmonds page...so it's a great forum here for me...

Hello @Catharsis
The ‘dog’ reference was a turn of phrase meaning ‘rough’ but the fact that you think the watch you posted might be a dogleg case illustrates @Shabbaz ’s point perfectly.
We all had to start somewhere but you do need to slow down and immerse yourself in the information that’s available to you.
The members are always happy to help but even if you gain a little of your own knowledge, you can then take part in a conversation rather than just ask open questions.

-and no, IMHO, the watch (a Ref 14393 lyre lug) is definitely not worth 1200 (£/€/$) due to the condition of both the polished case and degraded dial.

Look for a nice Dome Dial Dog Leg Constellation ( should be achievable in the $1200 price range )

Not as sought after or expensive as a pie pan but still liked by many here.

Saw this watch in german Kleinanzeigen last weekend.
The condition is way too bad for the asking price.
I cannot imagine, that the seller will get a four digit amount of Euros.

I already have a dome dial constellation and love it... As well as my pie pan... But I was just curious what you guys here say...
