Hello I’ve found a Speedmaster, and here’s my conclusions. Feel free to correct me please.

overall nice condition, polished
47 mil serial circa 1984
Correct Caseback
Lume looks original but degrading. It glows briefly when exposed to strong light
Crystal is original (omega symbol at center)
1171/1 bracelet and 633 ends correct
Hands are not in good shape but surprisingly not distracting
Correct bezel
Any specs you see are are on crystal.

anybody see anything I’m missing? Thanks very much.

no safe queen, bummer it's the 12 o'clock lume that's the worst, but otherwise looks pretty good. price?

Looks okay to me, other than the lume at 12 o’clock, which looks like somebody’s clumsy damage. I’m also surprised at the condition of the lume on the hands (or lack of it).

is it possible it was serviced by an amateur?

As I’m sure you can tell better in-hand, it appears to have been polished some.

I'm not an expert but the DNN bezel might be a little new for your model - I thought the 80s models have no accent + serifs on the 7s, and moved to no accent + no serifs on the 7s for the 3590.50? Possible service bezel replaced in the 90s?

$3600usd

take some of the evaluations here and negotiate down a few hundred or so. My view on the watch.

I think this is a buy only under $3000. Acquiring a decent set of hands will cost you a few hundred, and that's a service bezel - the 7s for instance should have a hooked serif on an early 1980s Speedy. And why in the world wouldn't they unclasp the bracelet to take a shot of the full movement? If it were me I'd wait for a more attractive example at that price.

Bezel is from the early '90s, but the watch could still be original. Still, on bracelet these models go for closer to 3k in this kind of condition.
