Hello fellow watch enthusiasts, I have been looking to find a nice 12.68z to add to my collection and stumbled on this one on ebay. Now I'm having second thoughts about the condition of the dial and particularly the chip at 11:00. Would you buy a watch with the dial in this shape? Does the watch look as it should otherwise? Its a similar one as the one in Goldberger's book so thats nice... Thanks for your input.
Crown is incorrect despite what the seller stated. Price seems high given the condition of the dial though these 35 mm pieces are quite hot at the moment.
Everybody seems to be much faster at getting to one of these than me. Tough competition to get a large size.
I’m no expert but I tend to prefer original dials, which tends to mean there is patina, so it becomes a question of whether the patina is attractive. Like this one which I bought from @watchknut on this forum...I think it’s beautiful https://omegaforums.net/threads/37mm-longines-bauhaus-ref-4734-23m-stainless-1942-1750.66774/
