    Hi all

This is my explorer 2 im debating on whether to sell it to fund a submariner i've been offered

    Its never bothered me

Would you guys be put off with this its not noticeable from the side, just from the underside

The guy who I got it off originally caught it falling over

do you think £2800 would be a fair price?

not really, consider the flaws to be just some battle scars on a very robust tool watch... I do enjoy mine a lot :)

Well, it wouldn’t bother me (watches are meant to be worn and I’d call that character) and that’s a fair price and one I’d buy at... so second dibs if watxh3s doesn’t want it..:

Wouldn’t bother me so long as I knew about it before I bought it. It would make me more likely to wear it too. A great beater.

Scars are not a big factor as long as the pricing is adjusted appropriately.

I'm wearing the same watch right now and, although mine doesn't have a mark anywhere, I paid substantially more than £2800 (does have box and papers too).

Wouldn't bother me and wear it like a tool watch it is meant to be. And add a few scratches of your own.

I wouldn't pay a whole lot for because with the damage, I would only consider it for a "daily beater"

Would all be a matter of price... if for the same money another one is on out there without the scars,...i would not mind scars on my watch if they have a cool atory behind it.

Well how much did you end up selling it for? I think it looks pretty good from the front, wouldn't bother me much since it would be for everyday wear.

I'm sure the buyer was happy to take it off your hands for $3795 USD. I suspect too, that the buyer felt the damage was hardly significant owing to its location on the underside of the case. It's sounds like both buyer and seller "win" in this transaction...they should all end that manner!
