You can send me a PM with any specifics. I will then know if you are wasting your time with my limited knowledge, and I might be able to refer you to someone who knows more about that model.

It's a shame the OP wants to keep all this knowledge to himself...

Is Longines a watch or something to keep you from getting a cold?

Gentlemen, lets be discreet about this thread. All information about this Longines will be discussed only between those with the proper security clearance and strictly with a need-to-know (unless you have a network server somewhere in your bathroom) :p

Post some clear well focused pictures and I'll tell you I'm not an expert but I'm sure they'll show up eventually.

I'm not a Longines expert but I play one on the internet.

..... and I frequently stay at the Holiday Inn Express when I go on vacation.

    Oh, and this is fantastic!:

If I didn't already have the ultimate avatar picture (courtesy of Mr. Photoshop himself) I'd totally be using that picture cropped to size.

    I'm no expert, but:

    Sweet
dial ::love::, Clean and pretty movement, says cal. 330 or a Valjoux 72 (others will tell you if correct for model, probably is).

You already stated/noticed that the original brushed case has been completely polished out...

The hour and minute hands seem too short to me... have to compare to others out there to be sure... maybe they're OK... or maybe the hour hand is a replacement, since it's black...

    Edit:

Found another one on YouTube, hands seem right size after all:

    2222.jpg

...and an 8224-2 looks quite similar; this one belongs to @lenny (hope he doesn't mind the share :cautious:):
